Our Work

In 2021, after hearing from his grandmother about the lack of school supplies in rural schools in Bohol, Philippines, our founder, Colin, created the concept of Shared Pencil--reusing and redistributing surplus school supplies to donate to schools in need.

After reaching out to teachers in his district, Colin began collecting donations. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the community, notebooks, pencils, crayons, and more arrived in abundance.

Armed with the surplus supplies, our team traveled to the Philippines to distribute them. The schools we visited greeted us with open arms and grateful hearts. Witnessing the immediate impact of our efforts—seeing the smiles and the spark in the students' eyes—solidified our purpose. We knew we were on the right path, and the shared pencils became symbols of possibility and empowerment.

The success and heartfelt reception we experienced in Bohol have motivated us to dream bigger. Our commitment to empowering education knows no bounds, and we are determined to expand our operation to reach more communities in need.
